About Us

Equinox Designer's Week

Equinox Designer’s Week is a gathering of talented Filipino fashion designers, both established and emerging, showcasing their outstanding design skills and competence. This fashion movement intends to elevate the quality of local wear for it to be known and appreciated as a booming facet of Philippine fashion industry not only locally but also worldwide. From hip street wear to impeccable formal wear, classic casuals to eccentric printed pieces, Equinox Designers Week will be catering to a wide array of local wear styles.

Considered as the stepchild of fashion, Equinox Designer’s Week aims to hoist the image of local wear for it to have its own share of limelight. With a successful launch last March 2017, Equinox Designer’s Week has been providing a venue for designers and fashion enthusiasts to appreciate, recognize and support local designers’ creative styles and genius design philosophies.

SPRING X FALL

This year, Equinox Designers Week will be a coalesce of Spring and Fall fashion. It will be participated by 9 best designers who will create 15 of their interpretation of the two seasons. These designers had undergone a process and been chosen carefully by our team to make sure that the designs will adhere to the theme to ultimately create a well-curated and seamless show.

OUR ADVOCACY

The said campaign’s objective is to spread awareness in promoting Filipino talents in the fashion industry. Supporting and giving priority to locally trained Filipinos, this movement gives opportunity to local talents by showcasing our own beauty, bringing out such multitudinous talents that Filipinos possess, proving that we deserve a spot in the industry and can be recognized globally. Love Local Models campaign is not just focused on giving opportunities to local models and talents. It also aims for small businesses and entrepreneurs  and even big brands and companies to start supporting local services such as Filipino photographers, make-up artists, stylists, designers and event organizers.

“Soon,  the Philippines will be known by our neighboring countries that we are not just about coconuts, rice farms and white beaches but also a pool of talented individuals that can support the need of the international fashion industry.”

– Jeffrey Herbolario, producer

We seek for people to not forget our own products,  and to not be blinded by the worldly standards of what beauty should be that we could not see the beauty lies inside us. Let us embrace our own charm, love our own beauty, let us love local.
